TAS Super LP List! Special Merit: Film and Broadway Scores
Remastered & Pressed On Limited Edition Whiskey Colored Vinyl LP!
Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, of the internationally celebrated bands Nick CaveAnd The Bad Seeds, The Dirty Three and Grinderman, have composed, played andproduced a compelling and intense soundtrack for director Andrew Dominik’ssavage tale of the true West. The new score captures perfectly the charismaticand unpredictable nature of its central protagonist. Like the film, Cave andEllis’ music cuts through the mythic figure of Jesse James to reveal thecomplex, contradictory man beneath. Daring and passionately delivered, Cave andEllis’ beautiful soundtrack retains its captivating power even without thebenefit of Dominik’s images
